Knoll Lake Camping Trip ~ June 25-27

We had a fun weekend camping, fishing, and canoeing at Knoll Lake (on the Mogollon Rim) with 2 other families from our homeschooling co-op: The Adomeits and the Frenchs. We were all located near each other, so the kids could roam freely along the wooded hill between the campsites enjoying their walkie-talkies and "spy games" (boys vs. girls, of course.) We congregated in the evenings around the French's fire pit on the hill for fellowship and roasting marshmallows. Everyone had a blast; we've decided it needs to become an annual event. Hopefully next year, more families in our co-op can join the fun and escape some of the Phoenix summer heat (112 today - yikes!)
