Take Me Out to the Ballgame

For the past few years, the kids have participated in the library's summer reading program. Along with various stickers and other prizes, each child receives a free ticket to a D-backs game for completing all of the reading requirements. Of course, the tickets are for the nose-bleed sections, but we have a fun time nonetheless. This year, we were able to attend a Faith and Family Night and see Jeremy Camp in concert for free after the game. What a blast! Unfortunately, the D-backs lost (of course :-( but Jeremy Camp was wonderful!

It was just cool enough for the dome to be open that evening. Love the big screen and all the fun activities and music they do during the game (i.e. the wave, charge, give-aways, etc.)

The kids joined the "No Chew Crew" last year (the D-backs' effort to keep kids from using tobacco)and got free t-shirts. This year, they received little game-day stickers to put under their eyes. Jack was doing the muscle dance here.

For more pics of our fun evening, you can view the album I posted on Facebook:
