Capobres Family Fun ~ Dec. 27, 2010

Yes, I know - more Christmas pictures - but only a few more! A couple of days after Christmas, we all headed to my brother Steve's house in Scottsdale for our traditional after-Christmas-clearance white elephant gift exchange and family dinner. (When the after-Christmas clearance sales start, we are all tasked with getting the best gift we can get for $5 - girls buy for girls and guys buy for guys - then we play the typical white elephant game where each gift can be stolen twice.) Not much stealing went on this year, but we all had fun (and I got a nice Christmas mug and hot chocolate mix!) Here are some pics from our gathering.

All of us slugs after a wonderful dinner and a round of Electronic Catch Phrase. Jim, Paul, me, and my niece, Kacy.

Steve, Kacy, Jamie, and Christy

We also celebrated John's 50th and Christy's Sweet 16 (with a good 'ol-fashioned Duncan Hines yellow cake and choc. frosting. That's what my brother wanted!) Here John is letting Christy blow out the candles first.

I had put a few "trick candles" on the cake so a couple came back to life.

The kids loved playing pool.

Paul enjoyed practicing on my brother's guitar.

Scrappy-Doo!

The only picture with my sister - and she's in the background. But thanks for all the pics, sis!!

Now back at our house . . . my brother and sister-in-law had given Gracie this set of masks for Christmas. Tad, Gracie, and Jack model them . . . talk about freaking us all out!

Tad went for the extra creepy look.
