My sister and her family were still in town for New Year's, so we celebrated New Year's Eve day by playing at Crackerjax Family Amusement Park in Scottsdale. (Thanks to some great discounts through my friend, Juli, and her blog at www.bargainbeliever.com, we spent a whole afternoon there for not near as much $$!)

That evening, we had a few friends over to eat, set off fireworks and enjoy Tim Hawkin's new DVD. Of course, the kids also had to entertain us with one of their many shows.

| It is now legal to set off certain fireworks in Gilbert on Dec. 31, Jan. 1, July 3, 4, & 5, so we took advantage of the new law and enjoyed some fun. The neighbor kids behind us kept throwing smoke bombs onto our back patio too. |
